Introduction
Learn how to quickly search for folders, documents, text, links & datarooms in CloudFiles Content Library using the search bar.
CloudFiles' content library is powered by a powerful search that can be used to quickly and easily locate folders or data rooms, documents as well as links in your online file storage.
The search is intelligent enough to show and act upon these different results. The unification method used behind this makes it even easier to navigate around the content library.
Using the search functionality
Access the content library in your CloudFiles account, which can be found at the top.
Next click on the search box and start typing your requisite file name.
Access the CloudFiles' HubSpot integration inside any of the HubSpot records- contact, deal, company, ticket.
Click on the Add button, and then in the search box start typing the requisite file name.
Navigate to the CloudFiles Content library from the CloudFiles LWC in Salesforce.
Click on the Add button and then in the search box start typing the requisite file name.
The results will automatically update as you type your query further.
Once your result is shown is the list, you can click on the specific list item to go to it. The different items are differentiated using the tile icons.
- If you click on a folder result, you will be redirected to the folder. Check this article for managing folders in CloudFiles.
- If you click on the file result, the links screen for the file will open. Check this article on file import & management in CloudFiles.
- Clicking on a link result opens the link settings. Check this article on the various link features can be used.
- Clicking on a data room will open the relevant data room in CloudFiles. Check this article for how to manage datarooms in CloudFiles.
If you have deleted a file, folder, dataroom or link you will not be able to see them in the search results.
However, links whose status has been made offline will be seen in the search results.
