Intro
The content library is the central data storage space in CloudFiles. All the files that you import from your local computer or other cloud based storage drives get stored here. From here, you get access to create links to folders or files and also learn about the analytics of your existing CloudFiles links.
The content library is divided into two sections: 1) All Files 2) Recent
Activities Allowed in the Content Library:
1. Upload Files & Folders and creating CloudFiles Links
Uploading files in CloudFiles is the most basic activity to get started in CloudFiles. To upload a file or folder into CloudFiles Content Library, check out these help articles: How to upload a folder | How to upload a file
2. Replace Files
When you have shared your CloudFiles links with a number of recipients and have some updates in your file, you should use the Replace files feature. This keeps the original CloudFiles Link intact and replaces the file. However, it retains the previous name of the file. 3. Store Files for Data Rooms
Data Rooms is a feature that allows you to share multiple files using one single CloudFiles Link. It also allows you to request files from your recipients and get them stored at a predefined directory. To learn to use Data Rooms Check out this help article: Data Rooms in CloudFiles
4. Manipulation Actions on Files and Folders
The basic manipulation tasks of : Rename, Download, Move and Delete can be performed on files and folders in the content Library. 5. Sorting files and folders
To sort your files and folders in ascending or descending order in the CloudFiles Content Library, Just click on the “Name” or the “Created on” options at the top of the content library.
